Office: Hardyston Municipal Building
Municipal Drug Alliance Coordinator: Dana Vitz
Legislation adopted in 1989 created the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. The Wallkill Valley (Hardyston-Franklin-Hamburg) Municipal Drug Alliance was created to achieve the goal of reducing alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse by implementing prevention and public awareness programs. Based on a local needs assessment and planning process, the Municipal Alliance is able to refine and expand existing programs as well as create new prevention awareness activities of interest to all ages within the community.
