The Building Department is responsible for enforcement of the NJ Uniform Construction Code, which includes building, plumbing, energy, electrical, elevator and mechanical codes. Building permits and certificates of occupancy are issued through this
department. Prior to beginning any construction work on your home property, please call for permit requirements.

Online Permitting & Inspection Requests

The Building Department is pleased to announce the availability of online permitting through our software provider, Fast Track Gov (Mitchell Humphrey). In accordance with State requirements, you can now apply for construction permits for minor work, pay permit fees, schedule inspections and search public permit records through our online portal.
