Notice for the Solicitation of Letters of Interest for the Redevelopment of Block 63, Lot 1.01 – The Township of Hardyston has previously designated Block 63, Lot 1.012, commonly known as 3490 Route 94, consisting of approximately 67 acres of land, as an Area in Need of Redevelopment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12a-5 et al. This designation allows for public private partnerships and flexible zoning to revitalize properties. Accordingly, the Township is seeking any potential suitor for the property to submit a Letter of Interest and an outline of a concept or proposal which the Township may consider in the redevelopment of the property. Please submit any Letters of Interest to the Township Manager, Carrine Piccolo-Kaufer via email to cpiccolo@hardyston.com no later than September 23, 2024.
Redevelopment Plan Amendment for Block 63, Lot 1.01 & Block 75, Lot 55
The Township of Hardyston is currently accepting comments of the amendment to the redevelopment plan for Block 63, Lot 1.01. The proposed amendment establishes a commerce and innovation zone that will promote a higher and better use of the property through the development of the property with various commercial and innovative uses while incorporating open and recreational space. Comments may be submitted prior to the public hearing scheduled for the Township Council meeting on December 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the municipal building. Comments should be submitted in writing to Township Manager/Planner, Carrine Piccolo-Kaufer via email to ckaufer@hardyston.com or mailed to 149 Wheatsworth Road, Hardyston, NJ 07419.
